A little about me
I'm a teenage American girl, and have been taking art lessons since I was almost seven years old. (At least, up till now, because I've lost my art
teacher.)
About six months before I joined here, I took an interest to the manga drawing style, which I've been practicing drawing ever since.
I've finished reading one manga, Beauty Pop by (Kiyoko Arai), and am in the middle of another one, Bleach (by Tite Kubo; I'm on volume 5 ^^). I have never watched an anime show (Avatar: the Last Airbender isn't a real anime because it was made in the US), but I really want to, if I can find the right one.
I hate copying others' drawings; I feel like it isn't my work even if I just copy one thing. Since I don't have a teacher I just practice drawing in my room, both traditional and manga style. I look for helpful drawing sites online (one of the first I found was the good old MU website ♥) and practice as often as I can. I'm hoping other artists can help me on the forums, and that I can also be helpful to them.

It's good to hear you finished! The only other manga or anime that I can think of that Arai-sensei made are Dr. Rin ni kiitemite, Angel Lip, Magical Star Magical Emi, and she has one currently running in ChuChu magazine called Yomogi Mochi Yaketa?. I'm so going to buy it as soon as it comes out here! (In English-speaking land XD) ...Beh. I had to buy all the Beauty Pop books... It's really good anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter that much!!! Try reading some of Kiyohiko Azuma's works. They're really good! I recommend Yotsuba& and Azumanga Daioh. I really like Azumanga Daioh because it's also an anime, even though I read the manga too!
